What recovery suggestions will I practice today to achieve the freedom of having my cravings arrested?

I will practice gratitude – gratitude to my Higher Power and my OA fellows. Instead of looking at the food I can’t eat, I will focus on the freedoms and promises of the 12 steps.

Instead of feeling stuffed, I feel lighter.

Instead of feeling deprived, I feel blessed.

Instead of feeling stressed, I feel serene.

Instead of feeling lonely, I feel loved.

Instead of feeling guilty, I feel forgiven.

Instead of feeling panicked, I feel sane.

Instead of feeling worthless, I feel worthy.

Instead of feeling angry, I feel grateful.

Instead of feeling worried, I feel calm.
